Corpus Christi Catholic Parish in Council Bluffs, IA, is seeking a dedicated musician and cantor to lead music for our 4PM Saturday English Mass. This paid position offers $50 (which can be negotiated) per Mass and is an opportunity to enrich our parish’s worship experience through the beauty of sacred music, fostering a deeper connection with the liturgy and the faith community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liturgical Music Leadership: Provide instrumental accompaniment (piano or organ) and lead congregational singing during the 4PM Saturday Mass.
• Cantor Duties: Proclaim the songs while guiding the congregation in hymns and liturgical responses.
• Ministry Work: Work to select and prepare appropriate sacred music that enhances worship.

Qualifications:

• Faith-Filled Musician: A strong appreciation for Catholic liturgical music and a commitment to enhancing the prayerful atmosphere of the Mass.
• Vocal and Instrumental Proficiency: Ability to confidently lead singing and play a primary accompanying instrument.
